JOHN FITZSIMONS

John Fitzsimons

John Fitzsimons is a painter from Dublin born in 1974, represented by the Olivier Cornet Gallery from 2011 to January 2022.

John was a member of the Graphic Print Studio Dublin from 1995 to 2008, where he regularly showed work as well as in various other galleries around Ireland.

Since 2006, John has been working for Stoney Road Press editioning art. Amongst the artists that he has had the privilege to work with and learn from at Stoney Road Press, John has been particularly influenced by Patrick Scott and Brian O'Doherty. John recently collaborated with the Studio to make a set of three prints.

John also teaches a painting course with the VEC in Lucan.

John’s work is in the collections of the Office of Public Works (OPW), The Contemporary Irish Art Society (CIAS), National Botanic Gardens, Deloitte, Ulster Bank and many private collections.
