Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026 at Olivier Cornet Gallery

Four days of exhibitions and events from Thursday 5 – Sunday 8 November 2026

Following a record-breaking 2025, Dublin Gallery Weekend returns from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November 2026, bringing together Ireland’s most dynamic artists and galleries for four days of contemporary visual art across the capital.

Presented by the Contemporary Art Gallery Association (CAGA) and produced by SoSimpatico, the 2026 edition will invite audiences from Ireland and internationally to discover Ireland’s contemporary art scene through exhibitions, artist talks, art trails, workshops, and citywide cultural collaborations.

Earlier this year, in its press-release, Dublin Gallery Weekend announced Addleshaw Goddard as its new Title Partner in a landmark three-year partnership supporting the continued growth of the event and its visual arts programme.

Speaking of the partnership, Mark Walsh, Head of Ireland, Addleshaw Goddard said: “Dublin Gallery Weekend celebrates the art of the possible in its truest sense, bringing together artists, galleries and audiences to challenge perspectives and inspire new ideas. At Addleshaw Goddard, helping our clients turn the art of the possible into reality is at the heart of what we do. We are therefore delighted to become Title Sponsor of Dublin Gallery Weekend and support a programme that champions creativity, innovation and ambition while showcasing the best of contemporary Irish culture.”

At the heart of the weekend is an exceptional programme of new exhibitions at CAGA galleries.

Here is our programme at Olivier Cornet Gallery:

FRIDAY 6 NOVEMBER

18:30: Launch of our must-see group show 'Tales of Human Follies'. 14 artists respond to the 300th anniversary of the publication of Jonathan Swift 's Gulliver's Travels.

Launching as part of Dublin Gallery Weekend, 'Tales of Human Follies' is an artists' response to philosophical novels such as Gulliver's Travels which use narratives and fantasy to explore complex ideas about human nature, society and politics.

With this show, a key offering of Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026, "Literary history enters the programme through Olivier Cornet Gallery’s Tales of Human Follies, marking 300 years of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. The premise opens a particularly Irish line of enquiry: how satire, absurdity and social observation travel between historical periods without losing their critical force. Rather than treating Swift as a heritage figure, the exhibition has the potential to use his legacy as a lens through which contemporary follies can be reconsidered". Aesthetica Magazine, 1 Sep 2026.

Artists: Annika Berglund, Hugh Cummins, Colin Eaton, Mary A. Fitzgerald, David Fox, Conrad Frankel, Nickie Hayden, Daniel Lipstein, Eoin Mac Lochlainn, Miriam McConnon, Sheila Naughton, Yanny Petters, Kelly Ratchford and Vicky Smith.
