Republic - an exhibition commemorating the 1916 Easter Rising

Artists: Gallery artists Claire Halpin, Eoin Mac Lochlainn, Yanny Petters, Kelly Ratchford and invited artists David Fox, Beatrice O'Connell, John O'Grady, Eve Parnell, Mary Plunkett and Lorcan Walshe.

Offical opening: 10th July 2016, 3pm

Guest speaker: Eamon Ryan TD, Leader of the Green Party

Gallerist Olivier Cornet has invited one of his artists, Eoin Mac Lochlainn, to co-curate a show to commemorate those who died in the struggle for Irish freedom. The group exhibition titled 'Republic' will also be a meditation on the goals of the “Proclamation of the Irish Republic” and how or whether the artists think that these goals have been fulfilled.
