This magnificent painting by the Olivier Cornet Gallery artist Conrad Frankel was acquired in 2018 by the Office of Public Works for the collection of the Irish State.  'Benbulben, Sligo' was part of the artist's solo show 'Road Trip' which was held at the gallery in September-October 2018.

The show received a rave review by the Irish Times art critic Aidan Dunne who described the artist's landscapes as "modest, considered, beautifully judged and classical." Later that year, the same art critic included 'Road Trip' in his round up of favourite exhibitions for 2018.
