Death of Capuchin Day Centre founder Brother Kevin Crowley
Portrait of a man who dedicated his life to the service of the poor

We were very sorry to hear of the recent passing of Brother Kevin, the founder of the Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless people in Dublin City.
‘Righter of Wrongs no. 4 (Brother Kevin)’ is a watercolour painting on paper, 65.5x49cm. Eoin Mac Lochlainn created this work in 2019 as part of a series exhibited in our touring group exhibition Drawing on Don Quixote. The work was purchased by a generous customer of ours who donated it to the Capuchin order when brother Kevin retired back in 2022.
Our
heartfelt condolences to brother Kevin's relatives, friends and to his fellow Capuchin Franciscans and all who worked with this fearless humanitarian.
